Welcome to Divine Life Institute
Purpose of Divine Life Institute (DLI) is to impart and restore physical, mental and spiritual health, and in that pursuit it strives about the patient to:
Philosophy of DLI
1- Simple rules, if followed, keep you healthy.
2- Still simpler understanding about disease, as per DLI's advice, keeps you disease free.
3- Patient should pay for ensuring healthy life and not just for treating disease.
'Swasthya' means that one has settled within himself, the one who has known himself, and that is why 'swasthya' is not just health. Actually there is no word in any other language in the world comparable to the word 'swasthya'. The very concept of swasthya we carry is that of no-illness. Being illness free is necessary but not enough for achieving 'swasthya'. Something more is required, something from the other end of the pole, from our inner being. Even if a disease germinates from the outside of the body, its vibrations are echoed all the way to the soul. Similarly, if the soul is diseased then the ripples reach the level of the body.
Sincere efforts are made at DLI to provide solutions to issues like, how can one secure health at Divine Life Institute and how does one learn to handle complications of health. DLI efficiently takes care of health from body to soul and vice versa.
What does it mean to be truly healthy?
Real health has to occur somewhere inside us, in our subjectivity, in our consciousness, because consciousness knows no birth, no death. It is eternal. And to be healthy in consciousness means: firstly to be awake; secondly to be harmonious; thirdly, to be ecstatic; and lastly, to be compassionate. If these four conditions are fulfilled, one is inwardly healthy. All the meditation techniques are methods to make us more aware, devices to pull us out of our metaphysical sleep. Those four are the pillars of inner health. To attain them is our birthright, we just have to claim them.
Health co-exists with us; illness befalls occasionally. Health accompanies us at birth; illness is a superficial phenomenon. Health is our nature, illness is an incursion upon nature.
What you should pay the doctor for?
The doctor should be paid for keeping the patient healthy and not for treating him only.
A doctor must learn that his work is to keep people healthy. His function is to lengthen their life, vitality and youth.
